Room for Cake is a boutique cake studio specializing in custom, made-to-order designs. Each cake is crafted from scratch using thoughtfully sourced ingredients, with a focus on balance, texture, and detail.

A limited number of orders are accepted each week to ensure each project receives the time and attention it deserves.

Room for Cake is owned and operated by Laurie Petrolino and is based in Santa Barbara, CA. Some of Laurie’s earliest childhood memories are baking with her mother.

While attending UCSB, Laurie began working alongside Santa Barbara’s finest pastry chefs. After graduating, her passion for baking and decorating led her to open her own studio.

Today, her work reflects a balance of flavor, detail, and thoughtful design.
